MARANTO holds a majority stake in KANCOR, one of India’s most prominent extractors, manufacturers, and marketers of natural food colors, raw materials, essential oils, mint, and menthol. This partnership guarantees our supply chain, providing superior quality control and end-to-end traceability. By operating in the world’s largest mint-producing region, our collaboration with KANCOR gives us complete control over production—from raw mint leaves to refined mint derivatives

Beyond this strategic partnership, and in our effort to provide the widest range of material profiles for our flavorists, MARANTO’s procurement experts carefully select and negotiate the highest-quality mint essential oils from diverse regions (the USA, China, Korea, and India), as well as botanical sources, ensuring we meet varying cost constraints.

Over the past 60 years, MARANTO has developed global technologies for refining raw mint essential oils (crystallization, rectification, deterpenation, and fractionation). As a result, MARANTO is capable of reconstructing essential oils with full control over their profiles and cost.
